NCPPP Recognizes Nicolas Rubio as a P3 Pioneer in the U.S.

Austin, TX – May 17, 2017 – The National Council for Public-Private Partnerships (NCPPP) recognized Cintra’s Nicolas Rubio on its inaugural list of the Top 10 P3 Transportation Infrastructure Pioneers.

The individuals, identified by a select committee of NCPPP members, have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the P3 transportation field during their careers and have made significant strides to advance the industry.

Mr. Rubio, the former president of Cintra U.S., successfully led Cintra to become the first major international company to penetrate the U.S. P3 market. Under his leadership, Cintra secured three state of-the-art Managed Lanes projects in Texas the North Tarrant Express, LBJ Express and I-35W Express, and the I-77 in North Carolina.

Mr. Rubio has more than two decades of international leadership experience within the private infrastructure development and construction sectors. In addition, he has been involved in the development of more than 150 private infrastructure projects in over 30 countries.
